If you have the desire, you can find a track to race on every weekend of the year. Most all vintage race car clubs or organizations offer the opportunity to compete in your Indy car in the open wheel class.
Track events that are dedicated to vintage Indy race cars are; the Indianapolis 500 track on carb day, the Darlington International Raceway, the New Hampshire International Speedway, the Michigan International Speedway, and the California Speedway.
The Historic Champ/Indy Association, listed in the links section, is a great place to get the racing schedule.
The list of locations is currently under construction.
